Student App — Notifications

Opening notifications

From the Home screen, tap the notification icon (bell). You’ll see your notifications list.

What you see

• A list of notifications (e.g. “Course access approved”, “Exam result available”, general announcements).
• Each item usually shows a title, a short message, and time (e.g. “Just now”, “5m ago”).
• Unread notifications may be highlighted (e.g. different background or dot).

What you can do

• Tap a notification — It may mark as read and open the related screen (e.g. course access requests, exam result).
• Mark as read — Some apps let you mark one or all as read so the badge on the bell clears.
• Clear — If the app has “Clear all”, you can clear the list (you may still see past notifications when you open the screen again, depending on the app).
• Pull down — Refresh the list to get the latest notifications.

You may also receive push notifications on your device when you’re not in the app (e.g. when access is approved or an exam is available). Tapping them can open the app to the relevant screen.
